Original Post:

We’ve secured a block of rooms for Chaminade ‘88 alums at the Warner Center Marriott.

Whether you’re coming in from out-of-town or just need a place close to the main event to stumble to and crash, we’ve got you covered.

The rates are available from October 17-19 at a rate of $119 per night (single or double occupancy). Prior to and after that, it’s $209 a night — so thanks to Kim Egerstrom for snagging a smokin’ deal!

Deadline to reserve rooms is Wednesday, September 17, 2008 - after that, you have to pay the regular room rate. We’ve got 10 rooms available both nights for our group.

Other details:

▪ Reference the “Chaminade High School Reunion Group” when you register;
▪ Room rates are subject to 14.1% state and local taxes;
▪ Overnight self-parking rate is $13/night; valet is $18/night;
▪ The facility is 100% smoke-free;
▪ They have free wireless access in public areas; wireless available for $9.95/day in-room;
▪ They have a Starbucks;
▪ AND… the Marriott is “set like a jewel in the heart of the San Fernando Valley…” and its “deep, vibrant tones accent a contemporary European style that stirs the senses and soothes the soul.”

Speaking of stirring the senses … wasn’t our prom there?

-Dan
